Nicki Vander Meulen is a board member for the Madison Metropolitan School District. She was first elected to the board in 2017, and in her last election received 98% of the vote. She was the first openly autistic school board member in the United States. She is a graduate of UW Law School and has her own practice where she represents juveniles with special needs in Dane County.
